From the pavements of Poland, avant-garde streetwear brand MISBHV, bring a post-soviet fantasy to to NYFW.
Influenced by Warsaw’s love of 90s club culture, MISBHV's autumn/winter 17 collection was an ode to Poland's nightlife, DIY-punk fashion. Taking reference from the early 90’s in post-Soviet Europe, exploring the fall of the Iron Curtain and the first exposure of an isolated society to the cultural influence of The West.
Models wore clear science glasses, silk bandannas and utility belts styled with crushed velvet puffer jackets, track pants, over the knee boots and patent red leather skirts. Slogans such as Slogans like “EUphoria” and “EXSTACY” adorned sweatshirts and in contrast, paired with plaid tailored suits oversized oxford shirts and turtlenecks.
